Abstract
If S(p) is, for every prime p, a p-Sylow subgroup of the finite group G, then we term the function S a Sylow representation of 0. The normalizer T of S and its situation within G appear to contain considerable information about the structure of G\ cf. Hall [4 a], [5] and Wielandt [6].
